Steve Kerr allowed his players to coach themselves throughout an entire game

Steve Kerr entrusting his players to coach themselves for an entire game on Feb 12, 2018 was a great example of what “True Leadership” can result.

Despite the experiment facing some challenges in the first quarter, Steve and his staff never stepped in. They allowed their team to figure it out and strategize an ongoing game plan through collaboration. Everyone had equal input and participated throughout the evening. As a result, the Golden State Warriors won handsomely and stopped their recent playing slump.

Strong future leaders are cultivated by Strong Current Leaders who do not mind releasing the reigns and allowing the team to put into practice what s/he has taught them throughout their tenure.

“When the leader steps away, and the good work continues, that is the best evidence of good leadership.” James O’Toole. #HappyTuesday
